Abstract Earthquake focal mechanisms are helpful in analyzing seismotectonic features a specific area, as they can depict subsurface structures. mechanism solution result from the first polarity or moment tensor inversion method. The produce complete information of than However, procedure is slightly more complicated, for it based on waveform inversion. Several problems related to signal processing might arise. Strategies should be applied overcome difficulties and obtain reliable solutions. In this study, we used data Palu-Koro Matano Fault events. We processed events with depth less 60 km minimum magnitude Mw 4.7. conducted using Isolated Asperities (ISOLA) software. Full stations located near applied. cause fitting study area discussed.
